What is the EMC?

Answer

The EMC stands for the Education Materials Center, which is a K-12 curriculum collection located on the first floor of Polk Library. Any students, staff, faculty, or community patrons can check out any of the materials in the collection, but it primarily serves our College of Education and Human Services students and faculty. It includes picture books, chapter books, nonfiction, graphic novels, professional development books, a selection of Wisconsin public school textbooks, etc.

If students need help finding books or have any questions about the collection, refer them to the EMC Coordinator, Jessie Ammons at ammonsj@uwosh.edu or 920-424-2320. They can make an appointment here.
