How do I subscribe to journal alerts?

Answer

BrowZine

BrowZine lets you browse and read scholarly journals in your subject areas. You can access BrowZine through the link on this page, or in the Resources By Name list.

Databases

EBSCO - To create a journal alert in an EBSCO database (such as Academic Search Complete, Business Source Premier, CINAHL, Education Source, PsycINFO, etc.), click the Advanced search link below the search box, then click the Publications tab below the guided style search boxes. To locate the publication, enter the title in the Search for publications box and click the magnifying glass to browse through the list of titles. Click the title of the journal for which you would like to create an alert. From the journal's Publication Details, click the Publication tools menu, and then click the Create alert link. Instructions with screenshots and a video tutorial are available here.

ProQuest - To create a journal alert in a ProQuest database (ProQuest One Business, GenderWatch, Ethnic NewsWatch, etc.), click on the menu at the top left of the page and choose Publications. Search or browse for the journal title, and click the title to select. At the top right, click on the bell icon to Create Alert.
