Former Student or Retired Faculty Library Accounts
UW Oshkosh Libraries will keep former student or retired faculty library account information around for three years after graduating or leaving the university. After that, it will be purged. If they sign up for a NewEra card within this three year window, their information can be transferred over to their NewEra account.
Emeritus Status
Emeritus status, along with an accompanying active NetID, may grant one access to various campus resources, such as library databases. UW Oshkosh Libraries receives information regarding emeritus status from the central IT systems. The UWO Libraries does not have control over this. If you are having issues with your emeritus access, you will have to contact IT or your former department.
