how do I embed streaming video in canvas

Canvas lets you embed video content within a page.
Notes:
- Canvas only supports secure video URLs (HTTPS) for embedding.
- Video playback defaults to the lowest resolution quality. Users can manage video playback options in the video settings menu.
Open Pages
In Course Navigation, click the Pages link.
View Pages
Pages is designed to open to the front page for the course, if there is a front page selected. To select a page from the Pages Index, click the View All Pages button.
Open Page
Click the title of the page you want to view.
Edit Page
Click the Edit button.
Open Insert Media Tool
Click the Media icon. You can upload and embed media files from your computer, external sources, YouTube, or Canvas.
Note: Media will be inserted at the location of your cursor in the Rich Content Editor.
Save Page
Click the Save button.

UW Oshkosh Libraries' Streaming Video Page
Click on the film you want to embed. To the right of the video, note the Database where the video appears and click the Direct Link to go to the title in the database. Then, follow the instructions below to find and copy the embed code in that database.
Films on Demand
Find the full video or segment you want to embed. Under the video player, click Link. Choose the Embed Size (small or medium recommended for easiest viewing in Canvas). Then, click the Copy button next to the Embed Code to copy the embed code to your clipboard. Paste the code into the Insert/Edit Media tool in Canvas.
Kanopy
Clicking the direct link to a Kanopy video from the Streaming Video page will open the video in full screen. To find the embed code, click "Watch More on Kanopy" at the top of the video to enter the database.
Search for the title of the video in the search box at the top of the page. Under the video player, click Share. Then, click the Embed tab. Next, highlight the embed code, then right click + Copy or Ctrl+C to copy the embed code to your clipboard. Paste the code into the Insert/Edit Media tool in Canvas.

Click on the Share option in the menu above your video.
Then, click Copy Embed Code to copy the code to your clipboard.
YouTube
Click the Share button below the video player.
When the share options appear, click the Embed icon.
Click Copy below the embed code to copy the code to your clipboard.
