Answer

To add a link to your Canvas course site, choose the Module where you'd like to add the link and click the + to add an item. In the add item window, select Add External URL from the dropdown menu. Paste the URL you have copied from the library database into the URL field. In the Page Name field, give the link a name that will help your students identify it (i.e. article title). Then click Add Item.

Linking from Search@UW

Permalinks to articles, books or media from Search@UW will link the viewer to the item's record in the system. The proxy prefix is not required for Search@UW links.

Proquest Databases

Includes ABI/INFORM, Criminal Justice, Ethnic NewsWatch, GenderWatch, Dissertations & Theses Full Text, Historical New York Times, PsycARTICLES. Proxy prefix is included.
